One tanning tip most people don’t think of is that your lips have no melanin and will never develop a tan. However, UV light from the sun or tanning unit can cause your lips to dry out and lose color. Always keep your lips moist with an SPF rated lip balm while tanning.
This could be the most important tanning tip of all , always wear FDA approved eye protection. Your eyelids are a thin membrane and doesn’t protect your eyes from UV light. Several types of FDA approved eye ware are now available on the market. We carry a few different kind for you to choose from that will fit you best.
If you wear a lot of deodorant, you may notice that you are not tanning as well around your armpit, and you need to remove this prior to tanning. When it comes to tanning, every person’s skin is different and the results will vary. Another great tanning tip is going to be just a reminder for the women that might have make-up on. Almost all make-up has SPF in the product, so please remember to remove your make-up before you start your tanning session.
